"Over the past 40 years, we have stayed in numerous hotels, inns, and condos while vacationing in CB. This is my favorite of all for a luxurious getaway. Staying at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square never disappoints! Service and furnishings are impeccable! The king-sized beds are very comfortable, and I especially enjoy the deep tub in the bath complete with bath salts. After a day of hiking, it is refreshing. Taking the elevator down to the Square is easily accessible, as is dining at Django's in the Courtyard. The views are incredible, too!" great reviews - map

"There are a lot of good things about this place but the upcharges can be a surprise, and the parking is an absurd cash grab.
Pros: clean rooms (mine had a big fridge)
Location if you want to ride/hike the ski trails.
Nice gym and actual hot jacuzzi, not the lukewarm ones that most hotels have because of liability concerns.
Cons: they took away the free self-parking since our last visit but you can park free in the town lot 2 blocks up the hill (at least in the summer) which they will work hard not to tell you. " semi-great reviews - map

"Grand Lodge is a bargain. East wing, odd numbered rooms offer best view of mountain. Cool breeze with help of fans kept climate in room comfortable. Close to many eateries and shops. Lifts open to ride up Mount Crested Butte and hike down. The onsite restaurant breakfast buffet was great." great reviews - map

"We shared condo 541 with two other friends, and the four of us were overall quite pleased with the large, lovely living room with a fireplace, large kitchen, and two bedrooms/two bathrooms. Our main complaint was that the balcony looked over parking lots (not a pleasant view) and there was a lot of noise from construction and traffic. (Pro: the free bus stop is conveniently located just across the street from the building. Con: the free bus makes a lot of noise every 20 minutes." medium reviews - map

"We had a lovely stay at the Nordic Inn. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and come furnished with a super comfortable bed and linens. Kim was an impeccable hostess. Friendly beyond measure, always remembering who you are and your story, with fantastic recommendations and well-above average continental breakfast. "Great Cabin getaway. Don't expect to have all the modern ammenities of a hotel. Cabin was well equipped and there is hiking and xc skking right out your door. Great for experiencing the mountains.
